Area Birders, Today I birded around the lake at the Breaks Park. It wasn't a very good day to go birding. But I did manage to get three species, no life birds though. And here they are: 8- Wood Duck (observed two on the lake and a flock of six fly in) 2- American Coot ( one of which was very vocal) 1- Pied-Billed Grebe ( watched this little guy catch a minnow) One thing I noticed about the grebe was that he looked sneaky. The way that the beak is made it looks like they have a sneaky grin on their face.
