BBC MEETING DATE IS TUESDAY, 19 APRIL, 7:30 P.M. SORRY TO HAVE WRONG DATE BUT NOT WRONG DAY. ----- Original Message ----- From: Wallace Coffey To: Bristol-birds Sent: April 18, 2011 09:59 Subject: [Bristol-Birds] BBC Tuesday meeting has lots of excitement and nice program. Rack Cross will be the speaker for the Bristol Bird Club 20 April 2011 meeting schedule for Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Bristol Public Library just off Commonwealth Ave. and State Street in Bristol Virginia. Some members traditionally meet at the Mad Greek Restaurant on the Volunteer Parkway for a Dutch dinner starting at 6 pm. The restaurant is across from Avoca Elementary School and the Bristol Tennessee Essential Services administration building. Just come in the door and listen to all the exciting voices at the long table of birders. Pull up a seat and enjoy fellowship. Both the dinner and meeting are open to the public whether you are a club member or not. Cross will present an update of the City of Kingsport's progress with its birding trail. BBC membership will also elect officers for 2011-12. The nominating committee presented a slate of officers at the last meeting. New business will consider a multi-club project proposal for June 2011 which is currently being drafted. This should be very exciting and fun. Guest will be present to help craft the top-shelf project. If you are new to our club meetings, come to the upper level parking lot behind the second floor and walk in the double "white" doors near the rotunda area. You can't miss us.
