[Bristol-Birds] BBC South Carolina Trip- May 23-25

Here is the detailed info about our South Carolina Birding Weekend.  We will 
leave the Tri-Cities area, by car-pooling, on the morning of Friday, May 23 
and return home on the afternoon of Sunday, May 25.  I have made reservations 
at 
the Quality Inn in Georgetown for both nights.  The two day cost is $193.58 
(incl. tax) and includes a Continental Breakfast both days.  We will visit Cape 
Romain National Wildlife Refuge including Bulls Island (boat fee $30/person), 
Santee Coastal Reserve, and Huntington Beach State Park among other places.  
A sampling of possible birds include:  Brown Pelican, Anhinga, Glossy and  
White Ibis, Wood Stork, Tricolored Heron, Little Blue Heron, American Bittern, 
Least Bittern, King and Clapper Rail, Sora, Common Moorhen, American 
Oystercatcher,  Sandwich Tern, Black Tern, Royal Tern, Gull-billed Tern, Least 
Tern, 
Black Skimmer, Black-necked Stilt, Whimbrel, Stilt Sandpiper, Willet, 
Semipalmated 
Sandpiper, Short-billed Dowitcher, Dunlin,  Wilson's Plover, Piping plover, 
Semipalmated Plover, Barred Owl, Chuck-will's Widow, Mississippi Kite, 
Swallow-tailed Kite, Red-cockaded Woodpecker, Great Creasted Flycatcher, Fish 
Crow, 
Brown-headed nuthatch, Marsh Wren, White-eyed Vireo, Swainson's Thrush, 
Prothonotary Warbler, Northern Parula, Yellow-throated Warbler, Blue Grosbeak, 
Indigo 
Bunting, Painted Bunting, Summer Tanager, Seaside Sparrow, Bachman's Sparrow 
and Boat-tailed Grackle.  Eight people have already signed up.  We still have
