While walking our dogs this evening in Tusculum, I heard a faint twitter nearby 
and turned just in time to see a woodcock in flight at eye-level a short 
distance away. As it wheeled past, I turned to follow it and watched it zigzag 
into the last of the fading sun. What a sight--timberdoodle airdancing into red 
sky. Bet I don't see that one again anytime soon.
