I can't really explain. Grab the demo and try it. I just didn't really care for it much. -----Original Message----- From: brandonslist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:brandonslist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of clement chou Sent: Wednesday, October 06, 2010 11:56 PM To: brandonslist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [brandon's list] Re: shank? Ah okay. And speaking of old beat em ups, has anyone played castle crashers? How is that one. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Liam Erven" <liam@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <brandonslist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, October 06, 2010 7:04 PM Subject: [brandon's list] Re: shank?Yes. The game will let you pick what level to start from once you unlock it. -----Original Message----- From: brandonslist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:brandonslist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of clement chou Sent: Wednesday, October 06, 2010 7:33 PM To: brandonslist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [brandon's list] Re: shank? I love it. I've only got the demo, but it's great if you lke old beat em ups.. this is exactly what I would picture a modern final fight or streets of rage to be. The good thing about platforming is... if you happen to die, you don't actually start the level over. You just start from the last checkpoint you passed. I have a question though. Does this game save between levels? I don't havethe fll game yet... would just hate to have to walk away and come back tostart the game over again if I wanted to do something else. lol. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Liam Erven" <liam@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <brandonslist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, October 06, 2010 6:36 AM Subject: [brandon's list] Re: shank?I've made it to the third level. It's frustrating, but is still a fun little game. -----Original Message----- From: brandonslist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:brandonslist-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Yohandy Sent: Wednesday, October 06, 2010 9:30 AM To: brandonslist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [brandon's list] Re: shank? yeah there are parts of this game that are difficult to play. like the platforming elements you mentioned for instance. if you have someone able to help you out in parts you get permanently stuck in though, the game should be quite fun. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Matheus" <anm.0@xxxxxxxxxx> To: <brandonslist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, October 06, 2010 9:49 AM Subject: [brandon's list] shank? hey everyone. have you guys played this game? it's a side scroller beat'em up, available for x360 and ps3(pc in a few months). i'm trying to find more and more details of the game, cause it looks like it could be playable(if you haven't played it, try the demo or search on youtube). but the more i search for the game, the less convinced i became that we will have any chance of enjoying it 100%. first, because from what i read today in a guide, during the boss battles there will be random buttons that you need to press in order to defeate it, besides, there are platforms to jump, walls to climb, etc etc. so i really would like a opinion from someone that tried it and see if it's worth waiting for pc release. i tried to contact the developers on the site www.shankgame.com if you guys can, please post a comment saying that you're blind and asking for accessibility features. the more we pressure and ask then, the more they will see that there's interested in these games. thanks.
