Hello. It is not possible to develop apps for KeySoft. Humanware, in their utter laziness, has not released an SDK! I don't know why, considering they have had over 10 years to do it.

Hello,
I know nothing about Key-soft, but if there is an email client, I don't really see what the problem would be. One would just need to create an app that retrieved results from a webpage and downloaded
books to the unit.
Frankly, someone could use the web browser, and make a webpage that is setup with key commands and is able to grab the info from Bookshare and also recognize key commands with the Braille note. But then the books would need to be unzipped and saved in my books folder. I'm not sure how that would work. Is there any info on how Key soft works, or any information on how to develop apps for key-soft? The manual is so basic that it is hard to read through the whole thing, so I haven't
really found enough information to piece together how the mobile
windows OS acts like.
Thanks,

Brandon Keith Biggs

yes, this would be very nice although based on how keysoft is
written, It would need to be rewritten in order for your wish to come
true.
I am not sure if this would be possible at the moment.

Hello,
I just joined this list and one thing that I have seen on many
other products that I would really love to see on the Braille-note
is a stand alone app for downloading books from Book-share and
Bard. Possibly learning Allie as well, but I've never seen that. I would just like to open up the app, enter the name of a book, find
it from a list of results, hit enter and have it downloaded.
Thanks,

Hi there,

It would be nice if Humanware made the application errors less or
even got
rid of them. I hope they also make any other bugs less.

Hello all. Because yesterday we went way off topic I will open a
new topic.
I would like to know what we would need in the next relece. I
don't mean
things like skype because it is impossible with the ram that we
have at the
minute. Just like bugs and all that. Like access to pptx files.
It is
possible. Things like that. I will open a few more topics
through the week
a bit later. I see what you come up and after that I will say my
bits.
