Depending on what type of files they are, you will need different apps to read them on the iPad. Once you transfer them from the Apex to UBI Disk, you can open them in what ever app you need to. But this is getting off topic for this list. If anyone needs more help with the iPad side of this they can email me at jessicabrown531@xxxxxxxxx.
Please go check out my website: http://blindnesseraserblog.wordpress.com which has lots of different info on a number of topics for blind and visually impaired people and which I have recently redone. Also please check out my low traffic mailing list: //freelists.org/list/erasingblindness where we can talk about anything related to blindness. Thank you.

What files are we talking about that have been created on the Apex? Are they braille files from a document or more created in wordprocessor or might they be a database creation of your cd collection? Then, once transferred as you've explained how are these then picked up on within iPad? It would help to know from David what type of files he is wanting to transfer from Braille Note to iPad but a more broken down explanation of such a process would benefit me hugely.

Download the free app UBI disk on to your iPad. Then put the iPad and Apex on the same wifi network and open UBI Disk and go to transfer files, then transfer by http. Then enter the ip address on the iPad into keyweb on your Apex.
