[BNU] password protection no longer works

Hi all,
My password protection started acting up. When I went to keymaps
and my map failed to download, I turn on my braillenote and it
doesn't ask for my password. After restarting it did, however
after a day it stopped working compleetly. Now it no longer asks
for my password.
