They are video files. You can play them by changing the extention at the end of the file name to mp3.

But when I renamed avi to mp3 it played and this means that from now on we know how to play avi files on the apex. ----- Original Message ----- From: Marissa <pianogirlforlife7@xxxxxxxxx To: brajmund2000@xxxxxxxxx, braillenote@xxxxxxxxxxxxx. If that site you are speaking of doesn't work, you could always try www.grab-tube.comm There is a podcast in braillenoteusers' media center. Would you like the steps? ----- Original Message ----- From: rajmund <brajmund2000@xxxxxxxxx To: braillenote@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date sent: Sun, 17 Nov 2013 14:15:48 +0000 Subject: [BNU] new foundation Good moring. I was converting youtube things after yesterday. Then for some reason ytconv converted the file to avi. What could I do? I tried to convert it with online-convert but failed. Ok so I renamed avi to mp3 because it did not show up in the list of media files. I did it because I did not lost anything. It magicly worked. I also did it because it said that it was a video file which means the media player knows what it is. So when I renamed it it handled it as mp3 so therefor it worked. Did you know this? If so please let me know. ------------------------------- BNU: BrailleNote Users - a forum for users of BrailleNote family of products from Humanware.
