Hello Jessica,
It depends on your settings in your shared folders on your PC.
There's an option when setting up your network folders that
allows or prevents other computers from changing the files. If
that is allowed the file will be deleted and will not go into
trash.
If it is set to prevent other computers from changing files it
will say access is denied or something like that.
I always set that option to allow so I can delete, rename or move
files if I need.
Sincerely,
John

Subject: [BNU] network drive question

So what will happen to a file if I am browsing files on my
network drive on my Apex and the file is stored on my pc and I
hit backspace with c on my Apex? Will the file be completely
deleted from my pc or will it be moved to the recycle bin on the
pc or will nothing happen to the file and it will just stay in
the folder it was in to begin with on the pc? Where, if anywhere
will my file go?
