[BNU] clarification on entering spanish characters

Hello all. I read the article on entering Spanish characters on the braille 
note. Just wanted some clarification. One of the options mentioned in the 
article was to leave it in grade 2 and before an accented letter add a dot four 
and then the code or letter. As an example accented i would be dot four and 
then three four? Is that correct in order for characters to come out correctly?
