Hi, I'm not sure what sort of battery the Apex takes. All I know is it seems to be one humanware designed for the Apex so the only place you can get a new one is humanware. You just need to tell them you need a battery for the Apex and they will be able to sell you one. Then when you get the new battery in the post you can put it into your Apex yourself. At that stage if you have any questions about putting the battery in the Apex please ask on list and we can help you. In the | middle of the exam the battery on my Apex died and I had to ask | for a reader to read the rest of the exam to me. What kind of | batteries do the Apex take? I know that you nex to call Humanware | to obtain a replaceable battery but I can replace the batter | myself. Hope to hear from you soon. | ------------------------------- | BNU: BrailleNote Users - a forum for users of BrailleNote family of products from Humanware. | Website: www.braillenoteusers.info | | IMPORTANT: By default, replies will be sent to individuals.
