I'm seriously considering leaving as well.

I know Joseph and Alex are doing everything they can, but there are several individuals on here who simply don't seem to appreciate the fact that this is an e-mail list, not a chat room.

As I think many of you know, I am a college professor with a very busy professional and personal life, and simply don't have the time to wade through hundreds of e-mail messages that say nothing of value to the entire list community.

Of course, I could hit the delete key, which I'm doing most of the time lately, but there's always the risk of missing something valuable.

Nevertheless, I am becoming increasingly willing to take that risk, if needless list traffic doesn't slow down very soon.

Respectfully,
Dr. Tom Behler from Michigan

I agree! There are 3 or 4 people who just don't seem to be at all
considerate of others on this list.

Sorry to say, I'm now considering leaving too.

Hi, I was wondering about unsubscribing from the list. Most lists I belong
to have the link at the bottom of the page, but this list doesn't seem to
have that.

I have enjoyed and appreciated the help I have received from the list in the past, but there are just to many messages that repeat what others said and I
don't have time for all those messages, especially when they don't really
say anything. Alex and Joseph have sent several messages lately about this,
but people are just not listening or have nothing better to do then see
their name on an e-mail list and I have just had enough. Two nights ago,
before going to bed at midnight, I went through and read/deleted all
messages and when I got up at seven that morning, I had over 70 new messages and over half were from just one person and not really saying anything that hadn't already been dealt with. This was not the first time and seeing the trend of those few people that do it, I don't see it changing in the future
either. Because of the inconsiderateness of these few people on the list
that continually do this, I am saying good bye. Joseph and Alex, keep up
the good work, but if you could unsubscribe me or tell me how to do it
myself, I would appreciate it very much.

Wendy
