Hi Rick. Auto reading mode isn't available on the touch. The command
to do it on the apex was an e-r chord. I never liked the auto reading
mode feature myself. It was either to fast, or to slow. But, again,
it isn't available on the touch.

Hi Rick,-------------------------------
Space with g is used to read with speech. That is no longer
possible on the Touch with BRF files, because it is assumed that
you want to read the Braille with your fingers. There may be a
way to automatically move the display at a certain rate, but I
don't know what it is. I think there's a way on the Apex, but I
never use it.

Linda

Subject: [BNU] The Touch and Automatic Braille Book Reading
On the Apex, I often read Braille books (.brf files) in automatic
reading
mode.
I'm probably missing something, but I don't know of a way to do
this on the
Touch.
In the latest update, I believe space with g can now be invoked
in Keymail
(and other applications) for automatic reading mode.
Not in keyBRF, though, it seems, which is at least where I'd
expect to do
this.
Any suggestions for how to get this done?
I find it hard to believe that something so basic isn't included
yet on the
device.
I hope I'm just missing something.
