Sounds about right. Personally, my vindictive nature would love to see Apple make an "iBraille" note taker and obliterate HumanWare with precision and thoroughness. And salt the Earth on which it stood, Roman style, but that's neither here nor there. If Apple wanted, they could make a superior unit for less than half of HumanWare's comical price.

My thought is yes, the braille note is becoming obsolete. Reading books on iOS has become easier, Pages is great for word processing, and goodness Messages and Facetime beat Humanware like Superboy Prime beat Wondergirl. Oops, comic book reference. Oh, and don't get me started on the voices!

Hi all,

I have some questions that have been on my mind for some time now.

Are the BrailleNote's days numbered? Is the BrailleNote still useful or it is becoming obsolete? I know Humanware doesn't release updates for the BrailleNote very often, so I'm just wondering if the BrailleNote's days are numbered and if we'll just have to move on to better technologies.

I'd like to know your thoughts on this.

Thanks.
