I also have a cd reader that works with the Apex, but I have no idea what one it is. The files on cds are .wav and the Apex can play them. I can move them, so it is possible to use the Apex to get files from cds and put them on an sd card, usb stick or even the flash disk. I have not tried putting files on the cds yet. My cd reader also can wright cds. Please go check out my website: http://blindnesseraserblog.wordpress.com which has lots of different info on a number of topics for blind and visually impaired people and which I have recently redone. Also please check out my low traffic mailing list: //freelists.org/list/erasingblindness where we can talk about anything related to blindness. Thank you.

But I've used those CD players on my apex. Some work and some doesn't. The ones that work need to be connected on one of the USB ports. Then you insert the CD. Then go to media center and start to play it. You will be able to read the names of the songs. -------------------------------BNU: BrailleNote Users - a forum for users of BrailleNote family of products from Humanware.
