If the memo is in a format the braillenote will not read, all the person you sent it to needs to do is turn scripting off, then go to: audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-mp3. and use that page to convert the file to mp3 and then the braillenote will play it. If they need more help converting the file, please give them my email address: jessicabrown531@xxxxxxxxx and have them email me and I will explain more about how to convert the memo to mp3. Good luck.

I assumed, perhaps incorrectly, that the OP was using the default Voice Memos app, which uses M4A files as far as I know. When sending from an iOS device to a braillenote apex/mPower, it may very on weather you can listen to the actual recording or not. It honestly, depends on the file type. For example, when using an app called songify, sending a song from nixPod, or even sending a rap from
AutoRap, the file type is mp4a or m4a. M4a files are completelyinaccessible using the BrailleNote. However, when I send mp3 music from various apps using my iPod touch, they send as an mp3/wav file
which is completely useful to a BrailleNote user. So, I wouldrecommend trying to find out which file type you are sending before
doing so. Hope this helps, JJ On 11/20/13, Camille <cwmuffin3@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: Good morning everybody!!! I sent a friend an email with a memo attached that I did from my Ipod!
