Ottawa Canada Dear Carlos and List: Grade III Braille is a highly contracted form of Braille with about 500 signs vs the 150 or so of grade II. Hadley used to offer a course in grade III but it was dropped due to low enrolment and low graduation rates. APH can provide you with the grade III codebook and Key to Grade III Braille. It is challenging to learn it on your own but once you know it you will never regret it! Try the BRL list on the ACB listserv to find other grade III enthusiasts.
