[BNU] Converting read protected PDFs

Hi all,
I'm trying to convert a read protected PDF on my BrailleNote
Apex (a BT running KS 9.2.0) and am not having any luck. I've
tried sending the file to RoboBraille, viewing it on the
web-based version of Gmail, and using the converter in the file
manager, but I'm always told that the file cannot be converted
because it is read protected. Is there anything else I can do to
convert or view the file?
