Alex et. al., there is a much simpler URL for the KS 9.4.0 upgrade download. i was directed to it after calling in because I'd had trouble using the longer one on the HW site. That URL is:

Any version of Keysoft should work fine with the iPhone, though someone else can correct me if they have experienced problems. So, go ahead and get 9.4 as it is the latest release. I don't have the link handy, but if you go to humanware.com, then blindness precuts, then Braillenote, then support, then software downloads, you should find it. There may well be a faster way - I am writing this from memory.
To re-connect an Apex to the iPhone, open Settings, General, Accessibility, Voiceover, Braille. Assuming your Apex is in bluetooth terminal mode when you do this, it will appear in the list of devices. Double tap it and it will connect. It should work automatically, though. Hi Alex, this is Helga.. I just wanted to tell you that I hope is true that I don뭪 need to enter the pairing code again, since it took me a long time, and I was actually very frustrated about it! Also, I just wanted to ask yu, how do I tell VoiceOver BrailleNote Settings to recognize my BN, if I perhaps don뭪 have to put the pairing code again? And also, I just wanted to ask you, What version do yu think I should download, Do yu think I should download the 9.3 or the 9.4, in order not to have issues with the connection Between the BN and the iPhone? Just curious! Thanks and God bless! P.S. I forgot to ask you, do I just go to the Humanware Website and search for upgrades right? And do yu know which specific link do I need to press, in order to find the upgrades? Just wondering! Sorry for asking yu all these questions! Thanks so much for yur time and help!

Yes, you can update and things will still work. You may need to tell the iPhone to connect to the Apex again (in Voiceover's braille settings), but you should not need to enter the pairing code again. On Dec 29, 2013, at 8:31 PM, Helga Schreiber <helga.schreiber@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Hi guys, this is Helga! How are you? I just wanted to ask you, do some of you here have an iPhone? Just curious! I actually have an iPhone 5. Actually, I just wanted to tell you that I have my BN Apex connected to my iPhone in order to use the Apex Braille display with it, and I really use it a lot. Just to let you know, my KS is the 9.2 version. I just wanted to ask you, since I already connected my BN to my iPhone with the old version,, could I do the upgrade to the 9.3 or 9.4 version without really damaging teh connection I done with the old version to my iPhone? This connection from the BN to my iPhone took me a lot of process in completing, and I would like to have the upgrade, but I really don't want to have any problems with it. I will really apppreciate it a lot, if you could give me some suggestions regarding this . Thanks and God bless!! :) Sent from my iPhone
