Hi, I tried this once with my BN, a laptop running vista and Jaws. I had
heaps of issues and found out in the end that there was an issue with this
setup so I had to use a different windows version. Luckily for me I was able
to get my hands on a windows ExP notebook and once that was set up there
were no further issues. I'm not sure if this has improved with newer
versions of Jaws and I'm not sure about the other screen readers either. I
have found windows Vista a big pain to work with both for sighted and
nonsighted.

Hopefully there is someone who has gotten this to work who can help you but
I just thought I would let you know of my experiences.
From Shaz.

Subject: [BNU] Connecting Apex to laptop using Windows Vista

| Hi again,
| In this subject, I wish to use my Apex to react as braille
| display for a laptop. The laptop is only using Windows Vista.
| It is also not a bluetooth laptop. How do I get my Apex
| connected to that laptop via Bluetooth or any other ways which
| will bring the output in braille on my Apex? This must be a very
| hard procedure I think? Cheers!
