I emailed Humanware about the problem I had yesterday and about the bug with daisy books. Here's their reply.

If you're unzipping them using the apex simply type in the name of a new folder when keysoft asks you what folder to unpack the book to. If you type a folder name that does not yet exist you will be prompted to create a new folder. type y for yes. This should make it so that when you go to delete that book it will delete only that folder that has the book files in it.
Once something is deleted off the SD card or braillenote's flash disk there is not a way to get it back.

Hello, I had a BARD book on the root of my SD card. When I pressed backspace with dots 1-4 to delete it, KeySoft asked, "Deletefolder, and all contained files and folders. Sure?" I pressed y
for yes. As a result of this, everything in my sd card was deleted. Everything!! My sd card is completely empty. I've also noticed in the past when I've downloaded BARD books into other folders of my sd card, other files and folders besides the book were deleted whenever I tried deleting the books themselves. I know this is a bug with daisy books and I think it must beaddressed. However, I was wondering if there is any way at all I
could recover everything I lost. Thank you. Carlos Sent from my BrailleNote Apex BT 32 running KeySoft 9.4 build
