Judging by the discussion on this list about three months ago, Skype is looking good. Regarding a host, I'd say either you (Joseph) or Alex perhaps? (being the list admins and both of you having PC's ...)
For my part, I'm happy to do an Fb or Keychat relay (or both) Weekends are best for me ----- Original Message ----- From: Joseph Lee <joseph.lee22590@xxxxxxxxx To: braillenote <braillenote@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date sent: Sat, 16 Feb 2013 17:26:55 -0800Subject: [BNU] BraileNote Chat: Let's get started with preparing...
Dear BrailleNote list members,Once or twice a year, we at BrailleNote Users mailing list hosts an informal audio chat. The topics range from features of BrailleNote to discussion on what the next version of KeySoft could contain. This chat also serves to indicate how users view HumanWare, and in some
cases, we did have HW staff with us throughout the chat session before.Thus, I'd like to get started with planning for the first chat of the year (tentative date might be some time in April). However, due to some major changes with chat venue, I'd like to get started early on
choosing the suitable venue, particularly for PC users (I still envision phone conversation session). The tentative plan:* Date: one or two dates from April 6, 13, 20 or 27th. We can arrange to have one session done on weekdays to accomodate those who cannot
make it to weekend session. * Venues: phone and PC with provisions to allow KeyChat/instant messaging relays (here, IM could mean Google Talk or Facebookmessenger). For PC, either one of TeamTalk, TCConference or Skype. * Topics: Answers to recent questions posted on this list and others;
if HW staff is there, interaction with HW can be permitted. Things to decide by mid-March: * PC chat venue and host: Which venue should be used and host (ifSkype is chosen). Each venues (TeamTalk, TCConference, Skype) have
advantages and drawbacks. * Date and time: Likely same arrangements as last November chat. Looking forward to your comments. Thanks. Cheers, Joseph -------------------------------BNU: BrailleNote Users - a forum for users of BrailleNote family of products from Humanware.
