Subject: [BNU] Abusive messages

To whomever this may concern,

I have recently procured a message from a source that is too rude to name who is on this list. I am assuming none of the moderater's have had a chance to read it yet, but I just wanted to put my 2 bob worth in here. You know exactly who you are, and you know what you said.

I wish to remind you of some things, in regards to language on a public forum. Please be advised there are young people on this list, who do not want to hear rubbish like this (and no, I'm not going to repeat it) from a list about which most of us have very strong feelings.

And secondly, allow me to remind you of the law around email addresses and email protection law.

Email addresses such as stopnowihaveagun@xxxxxxxxx, while they may appear to be funny are absolutely illegal, and punishable, in the United States and Australia by long periods of imprisonment.Gmail would not normally allow such email addresses to be created, and the fact that they have does not stand up well to the way Gmail operates.

So please abstain from sending messages like this to this or any list, or expect the law to come down very hard on you. I don't know who you are; frankly I don't want to know; and chances are the mods of this list will take further action, but seriously, think before you send, its a basic rule of emails.

Best regards.
