Unfortunately, with Gmail I can't see my own messages as they come to the
list. I resentthe the last message to myself and the attachments were fine.

Could your email or the list be removing the zip file? Email systems may
remove zip files as they are a common way of trying to spread viruses
and such like, although there may be perfectly good reasons why one
wants to send a zip file.
