I am using the latest DLLs from yesterday with BB. I have had no problems at
all. They have translated fine with multiple documents. Is there some other
way I can test? Should they work with liblouisxml?

I have a report of a crash in an OpenOffice plug-in, butg I don't
encounter any problem with BrailleBlaster. It would be nice to have
confeirmation of this.
The latest liblouis and liblouisutdml have bug fixes that will make the
line-by-line synchronous display of print and braille easier. This
should be implemented in BrailleBlaster soon.
