sorry about that. I read through the previous message as I was composing
my reply and inadvertently used your letter.

I do not own a pacmate. Somebody else asked the question.

Good morning E.,
You can read the DAISY books you've downloaded onto your PAC Mate using

FSReader, which is now offered as a free download. Go to:

to learn more. Also, go to:

for info on how to download and unpack Bookshare books on your PAC
Mate.

I use my PAC Mate Omni to read all of the books I download, that way
I've always got stuff to read. the only thing I do differently from
what you're wanting to do is that I download the .brf version of the
book instead of the DAISY version. I do this so that I can pack more
books onto the CompactFlash card I'm using. The .brf files take up a
lot less storage space than the folder containing all of the files
necessary to make up a single DAISY book. However, given the
affordability of CompactFlash cards these days, this may be much less
important to people than when I started using Bookshare with the PAC
Mate.

Enjoy the great books you can download and read!
