I have it and really like it.  I don't use it for scanning books because it
would be a pain to save them on the computer for bookshare, and sometimes,
even with the stand they have for it now, it's still hard to get a paperback
right.  but it's great for mail or reading menus.  the OCR is very good.

Has anybody here seen or used the Kurzweil-NFB handheld reader/scanner?  I
am very interested in this technology, but it is hard to find a distributor
in my area.  If anybody here has used it, what is your opinion?  Thanks in
