[bookshare-discuss] introducing myself

I just joined this list today. I'm Nancy Lynn, and I'm the producer of Books
And Beyond. I've been working with Bonnie since the very beginning of the
show. I do whatever Bonnie needs me to do and that I have the skill and
knowledge to do. I'm one of the people who sends out announcements for the
show wherever I can get them publicized. I also find some of the guests we
have and come up with creative show ideas. As I've been known to say about
the way Bonnie and I work together, she's books and I'm beyond. As for other
stuff about me, I'm 55 years old, and I'm single and live in St. Louis, MO
and have for almost 6 years. I was born and raised in both Pennsylvania and
New Jersey, spending about an equal time living in each of those 2 states. I
have lots of interests including anything to do with entertainment and
broadcasting, which is one of the things that drew me to Books And Beyond. I
also love animals and have had 3 guide dogs in my life. I don't have one now
and don't have plans for a 4th dog, at least in my current living situation.
I've been a member of both ACB and NFB at different times in my life, and
I'm now in ACB. I also love music and have a daily offerings group where I
share music from my collection with people in a little group in my outlook
express. Sometimes, if they're lucky, the group will get a bonus song as
well.
I guess that's enough about me for now, but I just thought I'd come on here
to introduce myself so you'll know who I am when you see future postings
from me.
