I download the books in the .bra format, as I have a braillenote that I listen to them on. Others download the daisy ones, and either user the Victor player available on the site, or else use a scanning program like Open Book or Kurzweil to read them, or they use the .html file and save it as a text file or what have you and use a screen reader, or a text to speech program, or even a screen magnifier to read them that way. Thanks for that info, Shelley. I was especially interested in #6. Sometimes when I tell people about bookshare (trying to get more volunteers) they want to know how you all "read" the books. I had thought maybe the readers converted, but now I see that you can download in whatever form you want to read. What format are books in that people listen to? Cindy -- "Shelley L.
