Hi,
As long as the copyright info, title, and author are readable you may be
okay. How unreadable is it? If it's parts like comments from reviewers,
lists of the author's other books, or synopses, you can completely remove
them.
That's not considered changing the content and is perfectly legal. However
you do need to have the title, author, and copyright.
