Subject: [bookshare-discuss] To avoid confusion

Hi all,

I have discovered something about the audio books from Bookshare. If
you go into the zip archive, you can delete the files that are not
MP3's. If you do this, you can put the files in $VROther Books and/or
keep them in the root directory of a cartridge or thumb drive for the
DTBM. Of course, if you have regular NLS files on that cartridge, you
will have to use the audio+podcasts folder. I find it convenient just
to use one cartridge for mp3 books.

If you eliminate the inoperable DAISY files, the .opf, .smil and so on,
there is much less confusion about what to do with them. Once
Bookshare technitions get the audio DAISY working, then they will go in
the $VRDTB folder. Until then, just delete the inoperable files.
Makes like so much easier. You know my motto, why aggravate yourself?
