You are much too young to be part of the "lost" generation. You had to have lived through W.W.I to be part of that generation and not all who were alive at the time lived through the war. Many knew little of what was going on and others were not effected by it. But a large portion were and many were "lost" during the years following it though most found themselves sooner or later, like Hemingway. His suicide was not related to that at all.

I have not fit any of the classic generation labels. I was born in 1976, and I do not feel lost in Generation X. My parents, an most of my aunts, uncles, and my in-laws are firmly entrenched baby boomers. My husband'sstepfather is the exception because he was born in 1938. I have never feltlost. I spent my childhood listening to talk radio, and thus, I was politically aware since 1984. I didn't listen to much music before I was fifteen. I have been always a bookish person who was more comfortabletalking about Shakespeare than fashion. Bookshare has gone a long way to myneed for stimulating reading material. I can't wait to read this book we have been discussing. Kasondra Payne No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
