I usually unzip book files into my books folder.
That makes it easier to delete them.
I have to say that I have not had time to try out the new bookshare.

  ugh!!
I was afraid that was going to be the answer.
I get zip files from time to time but I don't deal with them often. I really
don't have any idea where they go.
I use winzip and the wizard pops up right after I download one of them so I
have no clue where they are. Smile
I will have to find them because that will definitely be extra clutter that
my machine just doesn't need. I am filling it up quick with the books I read. I
don't have room to spare with the zip files.
Is that 7zip easier than win zip?
Will it run on a windows 2000 OS?
  Thank you for the answer.

Yep, you do have to find the zip file and delete it.

      Hello,
I am still getting used to the new site and so far so good. I will have
to get used to the un zip stuff.
What happens to the zip file I download? Remember when you had the unpack
utility it would delete the other file for you so you didn't have two coppies
on the system. Do I now have to go and find the zip file to delete it when I
have unziped it?
I did notice one little thing and maybe someone who knows to whom this
information should be directed. there is a title on the most popular books that
I think is wrong it says hold for cindy in the title of the book.
      here is the title
Hold for Cindy Rosenthal What Would Jesus Eat?: The Ultimate Program for
Eating Well,
      Feeling Great, and Living Longer,
       by
      Don Colbert

I am sure that is an oops. Smile

If any one knows the answer to the zip question please pas it on.
      Thanks
      Shannon B.
