Subject: [bookshare-discuss] Hello From Chela Robles And A Link To Music I
made In Advance Before Friday's Event on the USSO Ship in San Francisco

  Greetings,
I've just uploaded a zip file that you must unzip by using unzipping
utilities designed for your computer operating system, whether it be a Windows
machine, Mac or Lenox, so just remember that for windows, there is a built-in
utility called WinZip, so just enter on the title of the file which starts with
the letter C, and follow the prompts to unzip the file which contains 7 MP3's
of me myself and I doing both melody and echoes and harmony of sorts before the
event I'm attending, please don't listen to it until Friday, you can download
it from a URL I give you but please promise me you will not listen to it until
Friday. Save this file to your "My Documents" folder so it will be easy for you
to locate the zip file, and once unzipped, you can get rid of the zipped file
after you have successfully extracted the file. Please note that the MP3's were
made using my Olympus Digital Voice Recorder Model DS50 and are able to play on
any computer using Windows Media Player and ITunes along with other compatible
software that plays MP3 music files. I hope I didn't make this email sound to
confusing if so and if you are having trouble extracting the file, ask someone
who knows how to do this because I won't be here to help you out by then. I'll
be off to San Francisco day after tomorrow to perform on the ship and I get
free food because I'm a guest musician, how sweet is that hope the food is
good. I'll be performing with another trumpeter friend, who is awesome really
cool and jazzy in my humble opinion, 6 tunes and they are as follows not
necessarily in this order but here it is:
"Ain't Misbehavin" "Amazing Grace" "Basin Street Blues" "Don't Get Around
Much Anymore" "Night And Day" and "Taps" and I'm going solo on a patriotic
medley toward the end of the event so pray my trumpet is not too cold which it
probably will be sadly enough, what trumpet keeps warm all night, anyway, the
tune I'm doing alone is "Fanfare For The Common Man God Bless The USA"
so let me know what you think if you wish after you take a listen on Friday
and if you need any help unzipping the file to display all 7 MP3'S, ask someone
else who is a computer geek because I'll not be nearby the PC if you need
assistance.
  Here is the link:

"To me, music that breaks your heart is the music that stays with you
forever. It's one thing to be melancholy and one thing to be sophisticated, but
when you get the two of them together in a way people can relate to, then I
think you're on to something. You want the sophistication to lie in the purity
of the sound, the beauty of the arrangements, and the quality of the
performances."-Trumpeter Chris Botti----
