Barb,
The New York City Library for the Blind has a code that we can give to
Bookshare and we do not have to pay the Bookshare membership fee. Other
talking book libraries are probably also doing this. It probably depends on
your state.

Bookshare Subscription.
I didn't think about asking my library. I certainly could do that. As for
taking a Hadley course, I have taken courses in the past and as of right
now, don't see anything that interests me.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Barb

Unfortunately I cannot help, but it made me wonder, are anymore of the
libraries covering subscriptions for people? barb, have you thought of
doing a class somewhere like Hadley that could cover you for a year?
That is what I had to do this year, but I hope more libraries start
doing this.

I don't like asking for this again but, if I am to renew my Booksharewho
Subscription, I'm going to need help. Finances have not gotten any better
for us and I so enjoy the service. If no one can help, I do understand. I
thought I had kept the contact info for the person who helped me last year
but, in doing a search of my computer, I can't find it. If you remember
you are, and would like to help again, it would be greatly appreciated. Anecessary
few people offered their assistance last year and I just picked the first
one to respond. As I stated last year, I do not have the equipment
for proofing or scanning books to earn volunteer credits. My subscription
expires on 04/04/2017 so I do have time.
Thank you again for help. I hope I will be able to pay it forward at some
point.
Sincerely,
Barb O'Connor
