Good morning everyone,
We are currently experiencing server related issues which may impact the
ability to download from Bookshare's website. Our engineers are aware, and
urgently working to resolve the issues.
In the meantime, if you have one of the Bookshare integrated apps such as
Read2Go, Voice Dream Reader, or even the Bookshare Download app on the
BrailleSense, you can download in this way, as our API is not affected as far
as we know.
Sincere apologies for the inconvenience, and again we are working towards a
resolution.

Apex
Hi all,
Lucy, I've CC'ed this reply to the Bookshare Discuss list in the hope that the
staff who monitors that list will see it. There've been two or three
complaints about not being able to download books from a multitude of OS's and
screen readers and Braille displays. this does seem to be a real issue that
needs attention. I found that I could download with my computer but not with a
Braille display attached.
This is definitely significant. If I were you, I'd join the Bookshare-Discuss
list and follow this topic. This should not be.

Original message:
Dear all,
I am trying to download a few books from Bookshare, but when I select
my preferred format (BRF) and click the download button, I'm simply
taken back to the "Search results" page rather than getting the
"Dowload file into which folder?" prompt as usual.
This has been the case with several different books. My scripting is
disabled. Are other people having this problem?
What can I do to fix it?
Thanks in advance!
