Thanks, Grace. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to figure
out anything missing from the context. But I'll start
validating as soon as you post. The book I'm working
on now I own, (eats, Shoots & Leaves), so I can do
Adora without finishing it and can go back to it
later. But if everyone else can validate without
looking at a real book, I should be able to, too,
unless the scan is *really* bad, and I know you don't
do bad scans. Still, I suppose if you can keep it for
the three weeks in case a page has to be rescanned,
that is a good idea that someone had.

The first book I ever validated, I didn't have the
book. It was an Aaron Copland biography, and though I
recognized a lot of the names, there were also a lot I
didn't know. I didn't even think of obtaining the book
until I was two-thirds of the way through. I kept
going online to check the spelling of these names and
pieces of music -- Finally I realized there was a
faster way. (laughing at myself)
