Actually, what I am thinking of is to not have that dialog come up, but =
enable the Queued button that is enabled when you select Don's Send when =
the unit is connected.

Thanks Larry; very helpful. You certainly could have a modified cued file
message come up when the unit is not connected by eliminating the send now
and don't send options.

There is no problem doing it that way, but there is actually an easier =3D
method.

When you connect the device and there are files in the queue, the software =
=3D
shows the Queued files dialog with 4 buttons, Send Now, Don't Send, =3D
Browse, and Delete. If you know you want to delete everything, just use =
=3D
the Delete button. But, if you want to examine what files are in the =3D
queue, use the Browse button. This essentially does what you are doing by =
=3D
opening an Explorer window on the pending folder where you can delete =3D
individual files from the list.

Come to think of it, I wonder if it wouldn't be a bad idea to let the =3D
Queued button show up when you run Book Port Transfer without the device =
=3D
connected.

Hi.
        Generally, I just go into
        C:\Documents and Settings\MyUserName\Application Data\APH\Book =3D
Port
Transfer\pending
and delete the file in question. I don't know how good an idea =3D
this
is, but would suspect it's not too horrible, as I've been doing it ever
since I got my unit in July, and the unit has not complained.
Note that this info applies to Windows 2000 and XP. I don't know
where these files are in Windows ME, but if you search for pending with =
=3D
the
find files feature, you should find a directory with that name and be able
to enter on it, thereby finding out where it is through the address bar.

Can this be done if you change your mind after cuing a file?
