Be sure the program called BPL.exe is running. This is how the Book
Port Transfer program starts when the Book Port is connected. If you got
rid of BPL from your startup group, this would would explain the
problem.
We release betas when we feel it is necessary; there is no schedule.
The current beta is 2.2.0.79.

Hi,
Up until a few days ago, when the BP was connected to my WXP system,
the Book Transfer programme was started as it should. However, now
instead of starting the transfer programme, the contents of the BP are
displayed with Windows Explorer. I have to close this with alt F4 to go
back to the desktop and press
enter on the Book Transfer Icon. Everything then functions as it
should.
With the BP connected, I have had a look at the properties of the drive
and under autoplay, told it to take no action. This has made no
difference.
Has anyone got any suggestions as to how the transfer programme can be
made to start automattically upon connecting the BP?
Using the latest Rom updates but not the latest transfer beta.
Speaking of betas, approx how often are these released and what is the
latest beta number?
