Yes! I reported this behavior during the beta cycle and it's very definitely there in the released code. I haven't done extensive testing on this, but it _seems_ as though this happens more frequently if you've done some alterations (either additions or deletions) to the card in any of the folders. I have nothing in the root but the BP manual--everything else is in one of a series of folders--and it seems that if I add new books or delete one while the BP is actually positioned in a folder (especially an Audible title), when I exit the folder, I'm bounced back to the manual. My guess is that it has something to do with the way files are placed on the card and the fact that these assignments have been disturbed. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jerry Halatyn" <jhalatyn@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bookport@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, April 20, 2006 5:53 PM Subject: [bookport] navigation problem with latest BP firmware I've been set to vacation mode for a while so I'm not sure if this has been brought up before but... I've noticed that, with the last few firmware versions, when navigating from inside a folder on the Book Port, when I move up one level, rather than staying on that folder, the Book Port often jumps to the first file on the same level as the folder I was just in. Anyone else experience this? Has it already been reported as a bug? Jerry Halatyn aka Slau BeSharp Audio Recording & Music Production 30-80 33rd Street Astoria NY 11102
