Hi Claude and list:
Press 1 and 3 simultaneously. If you have the headphones plugged in, the
book port will say locked. You can turn off the beep heard when keys are
pressed during lock mode in the settings menu. The name of the option is
lock beep, not to be too ironic. Just set it to no if you want it turned
off.
