I got a ImaSpeaker from tdk and in most respects am very pleased with it. I can lock the buttons and easily fit into the string bag for the device one is using. I removed the cd sleeves and after locking the keys tried to lock the device. Now it closes but there are a number of low buzzing like tones coming from any key which has anything touch against them. The 1, 2 and 3 keys are above the bag and apparently don't touch anything. I can understand having a need for some signal to let you know that the device is locked down but is still active. However, why couldn't it be just the number 2 key and then work from that point. other than taking out the batteries, I don't see any other way to safely close up the case for long periods of time. The speaker is really great and the only negative thing I see is that there is no carrying handle or strap. I have spent some more time playing with the ImaSpeaker and have gently pushed down the backing on the left hand side of the open unit, the with the speaker, switch and the battery pack, and I squished it down a bit. Also zipping it shut I went around the three sides with the zipper and gently pulled up on the lid of the device and got a bit more give from the cloth holding the zipper. Now When I zip it shut, it is not forcing down on the Bookport and with further use might loosen up even more. I feel that this will be a very good container for the book port, especially if one could carry it in a brief case or back pack. Wish it had a strap since one could listen to a book while waiting for a cab or bus and even after boarding the vehicle. There is enough room for the ear buds if one wants to read in a waiting room or in other public areas. I certainly do thank many of you here on the list for getting me up and running with the bookport. I have a 2 gb card over half full of books in text format. I just renewed my subscription to Book Share and am curious to see how well it really handles the brf files. Again many thanks to all of you for your help. Ed,
