All you need to do is rename the file with the _dd extension, removing =
just that last extension. I use this method to play mp3 files on my =
BrailleNote.

On the topic of file extensions, I'd love it if the Bookport transfer
software didn't need to rename MP3 files with an additional extension. =
This
would allow me to play those files on other MP3 capable players, =
including
the Braillenote etc.

Is this a possible change?

Subject: [bookport] file extention questions

Hello. I transferred a rather large mp3 to a 2 gig card. I went to put
another one on there. By my calculations it should have fit. When I =
looked
there were 3 copies of the first one that I transferred. They were

bp_doc.mp3
bp_doc.txt._DD
bp_doc.txt._IX

What do these mean? How can i get it to just transfer the mp3 or can I?
I couldn't find any information about it on the manual.
Thanks for help in advance.
Sharon
