Hi,

It's something to think about at least, I try not to waist card space on the
book port by putting files on them which are such poor quality they cannot
be heard comfortably, that is, you have to strain to hear what is being
said.
This is not so much a factor in music, but on something like OTR, you want
to be able to hear dialogue.

Otto:

I wouldn't rule out equalization entirely, but, till this point, it hasn't
been on the list. Often if a file is of very poor quality, there isn't much
you can do, even with equalization. Maybe tone controls on the unit would be
enough.

Hi Pam,

What the question was Pam, was whether in a future software upgrade there
might be a way to equalize a MP3 file, namely an audio file, which might be
muffled? With equalization in place, highs or lows could be adjusted so that
the file can be heard?
Again, I did post this.

Hello:

Well, since I don't know the question, I don't have an answer, except that
perhaps if you re-post the question, perhaps Larry or Rob can answer
it--especially if it concerns future hardware.

Hi Pam,

I am writing to you because you are in technical support.
Could you read this and see if you can answer this please?

I had asked about equalization on a future software upgrade of the book
port.
I thought maybe someone on the list who works for APH might answer this.
