I found that periodically, the notetaker would become sluggish for a
few seconds. Once I proofread my epistle, I doscovered that large chunks
of data were repeated in the file, corresponding roughly to the places
where the BP started to become sluggish.


Hi Bruce,

I have also encountered this problem of the Notetaker doing some kind of random copy and paste operation (which makes editing a nightmare), albeit without the sluggishness that you mentioned. I don't remember if it's been brought up on the BP list before, but it's definitely a bug in the Notetaker.
