In addition to Bruce's comments, I think that there might possibly be a 
rights issue involved with .wma files, just as there is with Audible files 
in a format other than format 4.

Realistically, the current hardware that comprises the Book Port is, I
believe, too limited to directly support any file formats other than those
already supported. The only possibility is to include conversion ability
in the transfer software. I'd like to see OGG Vorbis support, but I think
hardware limitations are too constraining for direct support of any other
formats.
