i wrote the list some time ago saying i could not get spider working at all,
and wondered if i just needed better instructions. i note that the question
most recently came pertaining to accessing the Canadian National Institute
for the Blind's Visunews site for accessing newspapers. That is a password
protected site and i gather spider won't work with it period. that may
explain the error most recently reported.
I am still eager for any tips on how to use spider on public non-password
protected sites.
