Someone asked about the Select Audio range dialog and how to tell if you = are actually getting the whole book. The Select Audio Book Range dialog lets you decide how much content of an = audio book gets sent to your Book Port. If your flash card has enough = space, you may send the entire file. If the card does not contain enough = space, you may use this dialog to decide which portion of the book to = send. The Select Audio Book Range dialog contains two boxes. The items in these = boxes depend on the content you are sending. If you are sending a Digital = Talking Book, the selection items are sections of the book that have been = marked up. If, for example, the book were marked up with chapters, = sections, and pages, each item in the lists would be a chapter, a section, = or a page. If you are sending a book from audible.com, each item is a 5 = minute interval of the book. The first list lets you pick where to start. Normally, the beginning of = the book is highlighted in this box. If, however, the book already exists = on your Book Port, the highlighted item points to the current reading = position in that file. The second box lets you select how much of the file you wish to send. If = you have room on your flash card, the End of Book item will be highlighted.= Otherwise, the maximum amount of material will be selected. The = software prevents you from selecting more material than will actually fit = on your card. As you move the starting position, the range highlight automatically = adjusts to maximize the amount of audio to send. Normally, when this dialog appears, you may simply press the Enter key to = get the correct starting point and the maximum amount of material.
