Thanks Pam and Walt. I assumed reformat meant the same now as back in the
olden days, but wanted to confirm.
After I did the upgrade, I had a couple of files in my root directory that
would not play. One was an MP3 file that gave the error message file type not
supported and the other did not speak anything as I passed over it on the BP,
but was a .brf file when viewed in the transfer software or via My Computer.
After the reformat, all looks fine now.
